well it has been a very long time since i have posted. we have just been going along with our lives. walking now and then when it hasn't been raining too hard and trying to come up with ways for bohdan to get more exercise meet more dogs and behave himself. talk about a challenge.
on new years day we took a short stroll through the neighborhood. when we were a block or so from our home, we hit a 4 way intersection with two big dogs
barking at eachother from opposite corners and us on a third.
it was amazing my dog was the best behaved out of all of them, and he was whining and yipping to go play.
today we went to the beach, we wanted to take trillian to the offleash part of the beach. so we walked in the sand and it was hard on bohdan but he kept up, he even wanted to run after trillian and shari so... i wouldn't let him off leash cause
there would be no way of catching him if he ran too far and who knows what kind of trouble he would get into.
we walked and walked and when we met up with other dogs, he whined and yipped, and one dog didn't want to come say hi... and then on our way back a teenage australian shephard came running at us. both trillian and bohdan were well behaved until, at some point something triggered bohdan and he snarled at the puppy and took out a huge tuft of her hair.
i have no idea what triggered him, his leash had become tangled and i was in the process of telling him he was good and we should be going.
i apologized to the owner and then watched the same dog approach another group of dogs, and had nearly the same thing happen with them. who knows what set bohdan off.
we walked for 45 minutes in wet to damp sand... i know i am tired. we rested a lot on the way back, and i know i pushed him pretty hard, he will be sore.
oh and we are going to see the chiro on tuesday.
